ASB Group Investments has been established as a new division to integrate the Investments business within the ASB Group of companies. This includes ASB Bank and Sovereign.

This is an exciting development and an opportunity to join a group, which aspires to be the best in the financial services market. The combined business within ASB Group makes it a significant player in the industry with very strong brands in its respective markets.

Reporting to the Manager Wholesale Distribution, you will be preparing investment communications to meet the Group Investment responsibilities.

Describing yourself as investment savvy and an intelligent writer, you will be responsible for investment communications that include investment articles for both the wholesale and retail investment markets. Utilising your proven written communication skills you will be able to adjust your writing style for a diverse target audience, with creative writing and editing skills being a strength.

You will also be involved in the development of intranet and internet distribution capability to ensure efficient access is provided to investments communications and resources. Additional responsibilities will include event management at a wholesale level.

To take on this challenging and high profile role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Proven experience in an Investment based communications role combined with previous brand management experience
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Sound technical knowledge of the NZ Investment industry
  • Advanced level of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management experience
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Ideally, you will also have previous experience in public relations, event management and management of media.
