ASB Group Investments has been established as a new division to integrate the Investments business within the ASB Group of companies. This includes ASB Bank and Sovereign Assurance.

This is an exciting development and an opportunity to join a group, which aspires to be the best in the financial services market. The combined business within ASB Group makes it a significant player in the industry with very strong brands in its respective markets.

We are looking for a talented Portfolio Analyst who can achieve above average returns for ASB Group Investment clients by providing analysis on funds and areas such as currency hedging.

Reporting to the Manager of Investment Management, the role will be responsible for communicating process and details on funds and performance, to support other departments within the group as well as Advisers and clients. You will also focus on contributing to the team in terms of coaching and support, and policy formulation.

You will display strengths in these key areas:

• Strong Fund Management experience (including modelling techniques and attribution analysis)
• Understanding of broad financial services company fund requirements
• General industry exposure and experience
• A working knowledge of taxation as it applies to funds
• Ideally a CFA Charter holder.
