Ready to be a Financial Planner/PA?

Thursday, August 7th 2003, 10:16AM

You love financial planning, but hate prospecting, the insecure income. Actually, you would really rather assist an already successful planner that has capacity clients and needs you to take care of them while he brings in more business. Or you are strongly interested in financial planning, unqualified but have been in a senior support role. The directors are nearly ready to play golf after many years of hard slog and will soon be wanting someone to take over the day to day management. In the meantime you will be a supportive ‘back-stop’ to our Director, working with him managing his workflow and priorities.

You’ll be a pro-active multi-tasker, well used to managing yourself through interruptions, while paying close attention to detail. You’ll also need to have a high level of expertise with computers, and be keen to learn more.
