Reporting to the Practice Manager (Christchurch), the Financial Advisor is required to provide independent wealth creation strategies through a range of investment and risk solutions to meet customers financial goals. This is a broad based role that requires a mixture of business development and relationship management skills. The Financial Advisor is required to proactively develop business opportunities to increase funds under management, by responding to referrals from the existing institutional customer base, and initiating and developing independent leads.

Suitable applicants are likely to possess a combination of the following:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Economics, Law or Finance and/or a Diploma in Financial Planning
• A desire for success and a sense of achievement
• Relationship building skills and networking capability
• A focus on quality, accurate and timely responses to customers
• Proven success and experience in the Financial sector is desirable but not essential
