At the Bank of New Zealand we’re looking for an Underwriting Executive to join our Investment and Insurance team.

Working closely with the underwriting team, you’ll be responsible for the management of business risks for BNZ Life by reviewing and setting underwriting standards.

On a daily basis you’ll manage workflows to exceed agreed service standards, and assist with claims assessments. You will also provide value input into the product development cycle and other projects.

With your outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, you’ll co-ordinate and lead the team of Underwriters, ensuring all processes and procedures are met.

As a motivated professional, you’ll impress us with your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as your proven management expertise.

Ideally you will have a highly developed understanding and application of medical and financial underwriting principles. Your proven time management and organisational skills will also help you succeed in this role.
