Mandarin and Cantonese language skills required

The ASB Bank, a leader in providing total customer satisfaction, offers customers the added benefit of Investment Advice. We are looking for an experienced, qualified Investment Adviser, who will be able to offer Investment Advice to our existing customer base.

To further our already remarkable success, we are looking for a committed Investment professional with high ethical standards and a strong understanding of the Asian market. Excellent communication skills in a business context, with the ability to speak Mandarin, Chinese and English fluently will ensure your success. Any additional Asian dialects will also be highly regarded.

Are you the person to meet this challenge?

You will be required to service designated Auckland branches utilising a regular call cycle, and to provide customers with investment advice through a consultative process. You will work with branch staff to generate appointments from the existing customer base, as well as having a strong emphasis on developing new business and taking the initiative in attracting new customers. There is also an element of staff coaching and development in the role.

Having previous financial planning/investment advisory experience or being currently working in a financial institution or related industry, and the necessary qualifications, you will know that customer satisfaction is the key to meeting sales targets.

Describing yourself as strong communicator, you will possess the ability to effectively communicate the concepts of financial investment in meaningful terms to all levels of investors.
