Financial Planning Specialist

The Company

  • Niche Financial Planning Company
  • Will develop into a financial planning role in time
  • Applicants to have an existing role within Financial Services
  • Will assist in external training
  • Auckland based

This is an opportunity for an individual who has financial services experience to join a financial planner's office. Initially the position will be to manage the office. This includes administration, setting up client meetings and assisting in the marketing sessions.

It is intended that the successful candidate would like to progress to becoming a certified financial planner.

The individual must have

  • Understanding of the financial planning industry
  • Ability to think on their feet
  • Able to manage when there are constant demands placed upon them from clients
  • Sense of humour
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Professional manner
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven background in managing paper and systems
  • Good with numbers
  • Commitment to complete CFP tertiary examinations

A flexibility remuneration package will be negotiated for the successful candidate based on their industry experience and capability.
