Working within the Adviser Support Unit, you will find the environment stimulating and varied. Reporting to the Head of Financial Advice you will be responsible for:

  • delivering technical financial planning support and advice to a team of advisers;
  • ensuring compliance and legislative regimes are adhered to;
  • undertaking industry research on a broad range of topics;
  • writing industry communications to clients, advisers and the public through various internal and external financial planning publications;
  • the overview of financial plans prepared by advisers for the purpose of quality control and ‘best practise processes’; and
  • participating in a wide range of projects relating to systems, IT and training modules.

Ideally you will have practised as a Financial Planner and can therefore offer credible technical advice, as well as empathy to an adviser force. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or be a certified Financial Planner.

This is a unique role that will really broaden the skill-set of an existing Financial Planner in terms of operational management, systems and compliance.
