Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and working closely with other senior staff, the Head of Operations will lead an expanding team that is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund’s investment activities. The Head of Operations will work closely with the custodian, external investment managers and other service providers to ensure the efficient management of the Fund's assets.

You will have at least ten years middle- and back-office experience with medium/large fund managers, some of which you are likely to have gained outside New Zealand. Given the complexity and size of the investment portfolio you will have a broad range of skills in a number of the following areas:

• Investment Administration
• Performance and Risk Measurement
• Fund Accounting
• Mandate Compliance
• Portfolio Management
• Trading

These skills, together with a flair for relationship management and a detailed understanding of the power of information technology, will allow you to continue to build a strong infrastructure to support the growth of the Fund.
