You will be responsible for First NZ Capital's equity and fixed interest strategy research, asset allocation and economic forecasting and commentary. 

This high profile role requires a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in New Zealand and global financial markets, who can work effectively in a team environment who has a strong commitment to add value to clients' investment performance.   In addition to advanced analytical and financial modelling skills you will need strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), as well as the ability to confidently articulate views.  You will require several years' relevant experience in the New Zealand or international financial markets, including a strong understanding of equity and debt capital markets.  This position requires high levels of professionalism, initiative and lateral thinking.
