TOWER is looking for an experienced Insurance sales consultant to join our high performing Rural Insurance team. In this phone based sales role you will work from our Rotorua office.

Based in our predominantly in-bound call centre, you will be providing superb customer service by matching our customers’ needs to the right Rural and Lifestyle Insurance products. Outbound calls will be made to follow-up leads. You’ll be an expert in telephone sales fundamentals and know how to promote products, up sell, cross sell, and close the sale while at the same time delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll understand the importance of building and maintaining great working relationships with customers and with colleagues.

To be successful in this role previous insurance industry experience is imperative, and specific rural insurance exposure is preferred and will be to your advantage. You must have excelled in telephone based sales as either a sales consultant or as a cross selling customer service officer. We will also consider a Rural Insurance Account or Relationship Manager wishing to move into an office based role, however you must understand the key measures of success in a sales call centre environment. Target focused, you will know what is required to ensure continuing high performance. Naturally you’ll have excellent spoken and written English and an effective communication style.
