Our client is one of New Zealand's leading fund managers with an excellent reputation for producing quality research and generating excellent returns for investors. 

The key focus of the role will be to undertake Australian listed company, sector and market analysis, resulting in recommendations to the investment committee and portfolio managers. The role will require frequent meetings with sharebrokers regarding their analysis of various listed companies and with companies regarding their recent results and investment outlook. It will involve regular travel to Australia.  The role has the potential to also have portfolio management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be an experienced investment professional, preferably with direct Australasian Equities experience. You will have strong analytical ability in core areas such as company analysis, excellent internal and external communication skills and be well qualified academically.  You will also preferably have portfolio management experience.
