TOWER Health and Life is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to successfully lead and mentor a team of Business Development and Account Managers to consistently deliver beyond target.
Auckland based, in this role you will provide strong leadership to a team covering territories across New Zealand. You'll guide and mentor them ensuring you achieve growth objectives and maximize the value of every opportunity presented. You'll ensure consistent and quality relationships are fostered with intermediaries to cement TOWER's preferred provider status. You'll promote excellent sales behaviours and further develop a high performing team.
Additionally you will maintain or develop strategic relationships with our advisor partners and you'll identify new business opportunities. You'll develop team objectives, operating plans, and set targets, and you'll manage budget allocation.
To be successful in this role you must have a proven record specifically leading a sales team in an insurance or financial services business. You'll know what it takes to drive growth and concurrently compliance. Motivated by targets, you will have the inclination and the capacity to consistently deliver beyond expectation.
Naturally you will have superb people management skills and know how to get the best from your team. You must have excellent spoken and written English, and an effective communication style.
