They are looking for a very experienced Business Development Manager - Investments, to operate at a strategic level within the Investment Sales & Marketing area.
The purpose of this position is to build long lasting relationships with investment and financial planning advisors built on trust, responsiveness, exceptional products and empathy mixed with sound negotiating skills.
The prime focus will be to develop new and solid relationships which expand my clients presence in the market.
This position is responsible for the recruitment, training and development of investment and financial planning advisors and with providing an ongoing liaison and interface between the Advisor and the Company.
The core functions within this role are broken down into three key parts - Sales & Customer Service ( Manage major relationships & provide input into strategic management process), Communications (Marketing and Business Improvement) and Team Work (provide proactive assistance).
A desirable qualification would be a Business Degree or Financial Planning related qualification with solid experience in Investment sales within the investment and financial planning industry.
You will need to have a thorough knowledge of investment principles and practices, Implementation skills and Budget management coupled with excellent presentation skills and computer literacy.
