Greenfields opportunity - Develop, set up, and embed - Professional Development Pathway structure - Institute of Financial Advisers.

This role requires the significant skills of a top-flight professional development/learning & development manager seeking a new challenge.  This is not a role for a typical Training and Development Manager.

The Institute of Financial Advisers is New Zealand's premier professional organisation for financial advisers. To meet increasing expectations of consumers and practitioners in the new regulatory environment, and continue to set the standard for financial advice, the Institute is creating a new professional development pathway structure. We plan to develop and offer a suite of learning opportunities, courses and events to help meet the needs of members. We are creating a brand-new position to drive this process.

We are seeking a very special person indeed: an experienced individual who has significant experience not only in designing and delivering courses, but also in developing policy, processes and structures. You'll also have a track record of success in effective delivery through online and web-based means as well as more traditional face-to-face events. A real understanding of adult learning is also a prerequisite, as is the ability to balance in-house and external sourcing.  You'll need to be a self-starter whose "done this before" in a greenfields environment, who can deliver real and positive benefits to members quickly.

It's an ideal opportunity to make a major difference and be a part of taking the financial advisory profession to the next level
