Nuview Wealth Solutions has offices in Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa. We have a strong presence in the market place and a strong client base. We want to engage an energetic person for our Palmerston North office who sees their future as being in an advisory role. The successful candidate will learn all the aspects of the financial planning role from the ground up. Someone prepared to work in an administrative support role to existing advisors and progressing to a full advisory role over a defined time. The minimum goal will be to attain Authorised Financial Adviser status as required under the Financial Advisers Act 2008. As you study towards this status we will have a programme of on the job training, which may also require some travel outside of Palmerston North. The ideal person will be a self starter, have a desire to assist people with their financial affairs, be ready to study and have a genuine desire to become a part of this industry. We are looking for a mature person, who has an outgoing personality, who can work under pressure, someone who is keen and willing to learn. An existing qualification is not a prerequisite for the position however an understanding of the finance industry would be an advantage. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are a must. Advanced computer skills are essential. A package including salary and training costs will be provided to the successful applicant. In return we will expect a long term commitment to this role. This is a role which will develop at a measured pace and open up opportunity in the industry.
