SHARE is a small but rapidly growing Financial Services cooperative who offers branded, proven systems and processes that enable financial advisers to thrive in the regulated financial services environment. Our head office is in Takapuna, but we have advisers and offices all over New Zealand.

SHARE advisers use a web-based CRM system called Xplan to manage their client contact, daily activity and our unique proprietary sales process. We are keen to attract a technical wizard who will drive the training and development of SHARE’s unique technology solution to make it #1 in the New Zealand market.

This role is based in Takapuna and reports directly to the CEO. It also has one report, the Technical Support Manager, who is responsible for the back-end configuration of the Xplan system. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and people, to work as part of a tight team in an innovative and well-respected company.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of technology, and the use of databases and CRM systems. Experience with Xplan would be a distinct advantage, as would experience in financial services. Alongside this, you will be a strong relationship builder and a confident communicator, you will have exceptional time management and planning skills and you will be proactive and driven to achieve results!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and manage relevant user groups to identify development opportunities for Xplan.
  • Proactively review existing processes and redesign to ensure a compliant, user-friendly solution.
  • Deliver training, particularly for new users, to ensure that they are comfortable and familiar with Xplan and the SHARE advice process
  • Support new and existing advisers to maximise the use of the SHARE Xplan solution.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Technical Support manager to ensure that advisers and administrators needs are being met.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience with XPLAN or the administration of software/a website using a Content Management System
  • To be technically adept with a desire to learn new systems and skills
  • Enjoy collaborating with business stakeholders to define and develop changes to the system
  • Enjoy the challenge of training non-technical people to use technology.
  • A solid understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills
  • The ability to drive outcomes, and work autonomously
  • Project coordination and/or project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • The ability to use your initiative and thrive under pressure
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
  • A positive, professional, customer focused attitude
  • Be prepared to travel extensively throughout the country.
