Our client is a Fund Manager with an enviable reputation in New Zealand and offshore. We wish to recruit a Quantitative Investment Analyst who is tertiary qualified (preferably Finance/Economics or Maths) with up to 3 years' experience in the financial services sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Database/model management
• Investment operations and implementation of investment strategy
• Risk management and reporting
• Performance attribution and quantitative analysis
• Project work

We seek a highly motivated person with excellent computer literacy (advanced Excel, Access), numerical and analytical skills who has a real interest in investment markets and economics and who is also willing to take on day to day operational tasks as well as special projects. This is a unique opportunity to put your quantitative analysis skills to the test and work with a great team of people and a highly respected Fund Manager.
