Our client's Investment Banking Team is expecting further growth during 2002 and seeks an experienced Investment Banking/Corporate Finance practitioner. This challenging role will focus on merger and acquisition transactions.

The responsibilities include:

  • Financial investigation and analysis - preparing complex financial statements, information or projections
  • Client investigation, analysis and approach (Buyside - analysis, establishing approach methodology, commence call programmes)
  • Client investigation, analysis and approach (Sellside - analyzing strategic targets, managing memorandum process)
  • Financing - developing complex financing models, evaluating various financing structures, drafting financing memorandum.

We are seeking candidates with the following attributes and experience:

  • BCom in Finance with a strong academic record
  • Strong finance-related experience, preferably in an investment banking or corporate finance environment
  • Well developed analytical thinking with excellent valuation skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • A passion for the investment banking/equity markets
  • Lateral, big-picture thinker
