As CEO, you will primarily be accountable for strategically leading the group in the next level of development, corporatising SHARE's separate adviser businesses into one large significant business, and continuing to build a nationally recognised and respected financial services brand.
Excellent leadership skills are essential. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, demonstrate high standards themselves, and be able to create a culture of high performance, excellence and professionalism. The CEO must also be able to motivate and lead a large group of successful, self employed business people and have the ability to attract other high quality advisers into the group.
With recent changes in regulation, SHARE has taken a market leading position in the financial services industry with 95% of its financial advisers achieving or working towards Authorised Financial Adviser status. Working with a small, highly capable team, you will be responsible for ensuring SHARE's processes and procedures continue to comply with regulation and are viewed by the industry as best practice.
Participation in strategy development, business planning and execution, operational leadership, supplier relationships, and adviser engagement are other key accountabilities.
As SHARE's salaried staff are based in different locations, the business operates under a decentralised model. This means we can be flexible as to where the CEO role is based.
Candidates should possess appropriate qualifications and leadership experience. Experience or contacts within the financial services industry would be considered an advantage.
