Average rents declining in Auckland
The Auckland housing market is showing further signs of slowing, but at a relatively gradual pace.
Real estate agent Barfoot and Thompson says that in August it sold 936 dwellings. This was a decrease of 5.6% from a year ago and in the three months to August the number of sales was down by 7.4%. T
here is a downward trend in place for sales activity but it is not particularly large.
